ABOUT PGO HORTICULTURE

YOUR TRUSTED NEW ZEALAND HYDROPONIC PARTNER

PGO Horticulture Ltd is based in Tirau, in the central upper North Island of New Zealand, and is proudly owned by the Stocker family. As a multi-generation family business, PGO combines decades of practical hydroponic experience with a forward-thinking approach to system design and grower support.

More than a supplier, PGO operates as a technical partner to growers across New Zealand, working closely with commercial operations to design, deliver and support high-performance growing systems. Backed by a close-knit team of experienced staff and trusted industry relationships, PGO focuses on practical innovation, proven technology, and long-term outcomes — helping growers invest with confidence and build operations that are efficient, reliable and built for the future.

NEVILLE STOCKER

With over 30 years in hydroponics, Neville Stocker is widely regarded as one of New Zealand’s most experienced and trusted hydroponic specialists. Working in the industry since 1996, he has become a go-to technical advisor for growers seeking practical solutions, efficient system design, and long-term reliability.

Neville began his career at New Zealand Hydroponics before joining the family business, Stocker Horticultural & Hydroponic Supplies, where he gained experience across all aspects of hydroponic production — from system design and installation to irrigation, fertigation, water treatment, troubleshooting and consultancy. His engineering background underpins his focus on designing practical, efficient systems built to perform.

As Owner and Technical Director of PGO Horticulture, Neville has led projects throughout New Zealand and internationally, including installations across Japan, Australia, the United States, India, Indonesia and the Philippines. Respected across the industry for his knowledge and long-standing client relationships, his focus remains simple: delivering reliable, high-performance growing systems that produce results.

Outside of work, he can usually be found in the shed tinkering with his motorbikes.

DANIEL STOCKER

A third-generation member of the hydroponics industry, Daniel Stocker has grown up around horticulture, quite literally — having spent much of his early years in the same building PGO Horticulture operates from today. With over ten years at PGO, Daniel plays a key role in keeping projects, operations, and customers moving forward smoothly.

Working primarily from the office, Daniel focuses on coordination, system planning, and ensuring jobs stay on track from concept through to completion. He enjoys diagnosing complex issues and working through practical solutions for growers, and has been involved in the design of multiple hydroponic systems throughout New Zealand. Having seen the industry evolve rapidly even during his time at PGO, he values continuous improvement and helping clients adapt to new technology and growing methods.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys travel, time in the snow, and spending time with his young family

CODY MCNAUGHTON

Cody McNaughton plays an increasingly important role within the PGO Horticulture team, working alongside Neville on-site completing installations, maintenance work, and deliveries. His hands-on experience and practical approach make him a valuable part of projects from installation through to ongoing support.

Cody is also a familiar face in the shop, assisting everyone from hobby growers to large commercial clients, always willing to help find the right solution for the job. As his role continues to grow, Cody is now increasingly involved in designing and quoting projects, and clients will be seeing more of him both on-site and around the business.

Outside of work, Cody enjoys spending time with his young family, working on remote-controlled cars, and tinkering with hydroponic systems.

DIANE STOCKER

Diane Stocker works in the office managing accounts and administration, helping ensure the day-to-day operation of PGO Horticulture runs smoothly. Often the first voice customers hear on the phone, Diane plays an important role in making sure enquiries are handled efficiently and customers are well looked after.

When she’s not in the office, Diane enjoys movies, reading, and spending time caring for her children and grandchildren.
