Phos 400

Phos 400 Contains 400gm/Litre phosphorous acid as the mono and Di-Potassium salts, in the form of soluble concentrate.

Mode of action: The fungicidal properties are via direct attack of Fungi, as well as via stimulation of the natural plant defence mechanisms. It is readily absorbed by green foliage, green bark, and roots. Translocating rapidly in both xylem and phloem it moves to strong carbohydrate sinks such as newly forming feeder roots where it is most needed. Elevated phosphonate levels in these roots helps prevent Phytophthora. Used in defence of root diseases and downy mildew in a wide range of crops.
